Walking route Hoevelaken

From Hoevelaken station you walk to Terschuur to cross the A1 there. Along the way you walk along various farmlands. Just across the viaduct it is possible to buy fresh strawberries on Saturdays, but also other fresh fruit.

A little further on you will see the olden Florus, an antique mill that still grinds. But just behind it is wonderful to relax in the garden at Ruspuntnu. With various seating areas and old-fashioned hospitality, you can relax or take a look in the shop for used items.

If you continue your way you will walk past various houses where things are offered for sale along the way. There is also a mini-library for the readers among us.

Then you walk a bit along the Barneveldse stream. This part is unpaved but doable unless it rains hard. You can follow several paths here, but you will always end up at the Stoutenburgerlaan, which will take you back to the station.

All in all a nice varied trip.
