Description
This route takes you through the wide Twente Hooilanden. At Vasse you briefly drive through the Dal van de Mosbeek.
Frans' Mill The route starts just above Almelo. You will soon pass the Grote Geesterse Molen, a corn mill from 1867. Just past Vasse you will drive through the rolling Mosbeek Valley. A fairytale environment that is cherished with care. At the stream you will see Frans' Mill: a special water mill from 1725. You will feel like you are back in time here. An ideal place to switch off and enjoy the moment.
Twente conviviality Further on you drive into the Twente Hooilanden. An area that has never been in the grip of urbanisation and mass tourism. Here you will find an authentic farm landscape where the smell of freshly mown grass evokes warm memories of long-gone summers. Here you can enjoy the Twente conviviality in peace.
