Along Stinzen and Staten to the Wadden Sea

This cycling route starts at Camping Kaasboerderij Johanna Hoeve. You will soon cycle past Landhuis De Klinze, a Frisian stins that originally dates from the sixteenth century. Oenkerk once housed five states. There are still two left, of which you can see one a little further on: the Stania State. Then you cycle along the Wadden Sea, with the salty sea air in your lungs and the wind blowing through your hair. You exchange the hustle and bustle of everyday life for the tranquility of the nature reserve, listening to the surf in the background. When you head more inland, beautiful polders stretch out in front of you. A typical Dutch landscape stretches out before you here; an ingenious example of water management of which there are approximately 4,000 in the Netherlands.
