Tour of Eibergen, Zwillbrock and Groenlo

During this ride you will fully enjoy the Achterhoek scenic landscape between Eibergen and Groenlo. Here you cycle along hedgerows, characteristic farms and meandering streams. Just outside Eibergen you drive through the Kerkloobos, a nature reserve from 1924. A little later you pass through Zwilbroek, a border village called Zwillbrock on the German side. Here you can take a look at the beautiful St. Francis Church from 1720. It is the best preserved Baroque church in Münsterland. Then you cycle a bit through the Zwillbrocker Venn, one of the oldest nature reserves in Germany. Back in the Netherlands you drive through the Leemputten Nature Park. You pass Wijngaard Slingehorst, after which you drive through the picturesque center of Groenlo. The route ends with a delicious meal at Hof van Eckberge.
