Cycling tour Harskamp and Radio Kootwijk

With this route you will make a beautiful bike ride across the Veluwe from your safari tent at I Love Glamping. You will pass Radio Kootwijk, the area around the former transmitter and the associated hamlet is considered a protected village view due to its cultural-historical value. You will also cycle through Hoog Buurlo: a unique old agricultural settlement of two houses surrounded by stately beech avenues and fields with game walls. There are two old sheepfolds here. Then you cycle across the Hoog Buurlose Heide. Then you cycle to Harskamp and the Lana Mariana, a corn mill from 1739. The origin of the striking name is unknown. The cycle path leads you back into the woods. What a wonderful silence!
