Description

During this route you cycle over the winter dikes and the Waal beds that were created in the Middle Ages. Enjoy a real Dutch environment where cows graze. Nature in the Gendt polder is still unspoilt. The starting point of this route is Waalstrand Camping in Gendt, Gelderland. A nice campsite to stay at to discover more of this area and to take several cycling routes. The panoramic view, the beautiful river delta and the countless boats and ships that sail by offer a panorama to enjoy. Along the way you will pass De Kinkelenburg Castle in Bemmel. At Lent you cross the water to Nijmegen and then return to Oosterhout and Elst. Via Doornenburg you end up back in Gendt.
