Description
Open water, reed beds, swamp forests... all shades of water landscapes are in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Halfway along the tour there are beautiful mills that adorn the (inter)nationally renowned nature reserve the Rottige Meente. Two magnificent examples are close to each other. First you pass the Reiger windmill from 1871. The Rietvink mill is the next windmill in the polder area. When the mill is turning you can also visit it.
