Get a breath of fresh air at Goeree-Overflakkee

On this route you explore the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in the southwest of South Holland. First you drive through the dunes along the west side. Via Holiday Park De Klepperstee you drive to Ouddorp, a charming town where you can view the centuries-old Village Church. Then you cycle along the banks of the Grevelingenmeer. On the left is the Schans, a former military fort from 1665. You pass Molen Korenlust, and you can spot seals at the Haringvliet locks. On the north side of the island you drive through the Duinen van Goeree nature reserve. How beautiful and peaceful it is to cycle here! You will pass Holiday Park Ridderstee, and you can get off at Bistro Skål for a pit stop. You cycle along the Westduinen nature reserve onto the Brouwersdam. Time for a delicious meal at Strandpaviljoen Brouw.
