Tour of Rotterdam, Maas and Kinderdijk

Your route starts at the tea garden and B&B Onder De Pannen on the river Lek, opposite the Kinderdijk windmills. In the tea garden you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with homemade apple pie in the summer before you get on your bike. Cycling along the water is wonderful: it gives you the feeling that nature is taking its own course. This route takes you to Rotterdam, Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel and the Kinderdijk windmills. The route starts off well, with the ferry to Kinderdijk. You take a tour of the historic windmills - take the time to get off and have a look around! Then you discover the south bank of the Maas with the Erasmus Bridge. You then follow the north bank back to your starting point.
