Between all the spectacular high-rise buildings, a number of buildings still remind us of the time when people left here by steamship to America. Both old warehouses and new towers now house offices, apartments, hotels, cultural institutions and restaurants. At the end of the Wilhelminapier you can easily walk via the Rijnhavenbrug to the trendy Katendrecht.
