Near the harbour you will find the Biesbosch Visitors Centre Drimmelen of Staatsbosbeheer, where you can learn everything about the Biesbosch. Further on you will pass Molen Zeldenrust. The fortification is largely made of iron, which is not often seen. De Kleine Schans was built in 1590 as the Spanish army camp Roma and was expanded into its current form in 1637. You will now find a lookout tower, park and catering facilities there. Past the fort you cycle your bike onto the Markpont, keep some money at hand for this. Then you cycle to the former heathland and drifting sand area the Vrachelse Heide. Via Korenmolen De Hoop you cycle back to Den Hout.
