Drimmelen, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 137739
Provided by: Groots Genieten
Near the harbor you will find the Biesbosch Drimmelen Visitor Center of Staatsbosbeheer, where you can learn everything about the Biesbosch. Further on you will pass Mill Zeldenrust. The scaffolding is largely made of iron, which is not common. The Kleine Schans was built in 1590 as the Spanish army camp Roma and was expanded into its current form in 1637. You will now find a lookout tower, park and catering facilities there. Past the fort you ride your bike onto the Markpont, keep some money on hand for this. Then you cycle to the former heath and drifting sand area, the Vrachelse Heide. You drive back to Den Hout via Korenmolen De Hoop.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
