Tour of Kempen and Postel Abbey

Your route starts at Domain De Kleine Witrijt. Streams such as the Run and the Aa run around the hamlet of Weebosch. In this stream landscape you see hedgerows, heathlands and pools. And of course some authentic Kempen long-gable farms. Postel Abbey is a Premonstratensian abbey, founded in the twelfth century. It has always been known for its hospitality towards the poor and traveling guests. Highly recommended is the abbey shop where homemade products are sold: Postelse abbey cheeses, abbey beer, herbs, bread, milk and butter. You drive back through Boswachterij De Kempen. Civilization seems far away here in the endless forests dominated by conifers. You also cycle along a heathland.
