Cycling over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and through Leusden

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is a true cycling paradise. Here you can fully enjoy the variety between old coniferous and deciduous forests and heathlands. You can stop at Buitenlust Reyck for a snack and a drink, after which you drive into Doorn. Further on you will come across some estates, such as Parc Broekhuizen. You cycle through the woods and heathland of the Leersumse Veld. A little later you will encounter a completely different landscape: that of the Gelderse Vallei with its vast meadows. Along the Valleikanaal you will find a unique part of Dutch cultural history: the Grebbe Line. Via Leusden you drive back onto the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Here you will pass the old Den Treek Estate and the White House of Austerlitz, a former forester's house. You cycle through the woods to Woudschoten Hotel & Conference Center.
