Places of interest around Denekamp
The starting point of this cycle route is just outside Ootmarsum. From here you cycle through the town in the direction of the German Nordhorn. In Ootmarsum you can take a look at various museums, galleries and shops. Then it is time to exchange the city for heathlands, springs, ash trees and forests. In this typical Twente landscape you experience the peace of the countryside. You make a small excursion to Germany and then cycle on to Denekamp. Here you will find the Borgelinkmolen from 1818. A little further on you will find the Singraven estate with the Huis Singraven and De Molen van Singraven.
Bed and Breakfast Erve Höwerboer
Finally, you will arrive at Bed and Breakfast Erve Höwerboer, where you also started your trip. At this guest farm, you can get acquainted with life on the farm. Sit down at the bar for a drink in the place where the cattle used to be and then relax in one of the spacious and comfortable rooms.
Singraven Estate
Take the time to really enjoy the Singraven estate. The nature on this estate seems to come straight from an English postcard. In the middle of the estate you will find the Singraven House with an interior that has been completely preserved. Visit this house and imagine yourself in times long gone.
