Nice long round of Vuursche Heide

Your route starts at Leerhotel Het Klooster. During this cycling route you will pass various sights. One of these is Drakensteyn Castle in Baarn. The history of this castle goes back to 1360, when it was first written about this castle. A little later you will pass Museum Oud Soest. The museum houses a number of permanent exhibitions, such as a period room, a wagon workshop, a council chamber and about ecclesiastical life in Soest and Soesterberg. You will also cycle past Soestdijk Palace. Soestdijk Palace was originally a hunting lodge, built in the seventeenth century. The young stadtholder, William III, bought the homestead in 1674. The Crown Prince and his Russian wife had Soestdijk completely renovated into a real summer palace. From Soestdijk Palace you can cycle through the green nature.
