Nice long round of Vuursche Heide

Your route starts at Leerhotel Het Klooster. During this cycle route you will pass various sights. One of them is Drakensteyn Castle in Baarn. The history of this castle goes back to 1360, when it was first written about this castle. A little later you will pass Museum Oud Soest. The museum houses a number of permanent exhibitions, such as a period room, a carriage workshop, a council chamber and about church life in Soest and Soesterberg. You also cycle past Soestdijk Palace. Originally, Paleis Soestdijk was a hunting lodge, built in the seventeenth century. The young stadtholder, William III, bought the homestead in 1674. The Crown Prince and his Russian wife had Soestdijk completely renovated into a real summer palace. From Paleis Soestdijk you can cycle through the green nature.
