In Blesdijke you will see the beautiful village church from 1843 on the right of the road. Further on you cycle through Willemsoord, a former mining colony that was founded in 1820 by the Society of Benevolence. King Willem II thought it was a good initiative and gave the village its name. The history of De Eese Estate dates back to the thirteenth century. Here you will find a beautiful setting of forests, small-scale agricultural lands and straight avenues. You drive over the Woldberg and enjoy the historic atmosphere in the former fortified town of Steenwijk. You cycle a bit through the Wieden and picturesque Giethoorn, after which the route ends at Landwinkel and Camping Waterbuffelfarm.
