Cycling through the Schoorlse Dunes

During this cycling tour you can get a breath of fresh air along the coast, but you also cycle through picturesque towns such as Petten and Groet. In this area you will also find a unique combination of dunes, heathlands, fields and forests.

On one side of the Schoorlse Duinen you have a beautiful view of the North Sea, while on the other side you look out on a vast landscape full of fields and forests. From the Dunes you cycle along the edge of the artists' village of Bergen. Visit Museum Kranenburgh to admire the work of artists from the village. A little further on you will find the Coastal Information Center or the Schoorlse Duinen Outdoor Center. Here you can view exhibitions about life at and with the sea and the surrounding nature. There is also plenty to do here for children.
