Today you will take a nice walk through the Luntersche Buurtbosch. The forest was created around 1890 thanks to the legacy of notary Van den Ham. In a small forest in the fields you will come across a Germanic well. It is a reconstruction of a water point that stood here around 300 BC to provide the ridge fields at the Wekeromse Zand with water. The geographical centre of the Netherlands is located on the Lindeboomsberg. You walk up the Goudsberg, a hill on which the Hessenhut lookout tower stands: what a beautiful panorama! The Hessenweg, an old trade route from Germany, runs right across the hill. The design with the round shape and spokes is reminiscent of the Hessen wagons of that time.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
