Walking along the forts of Bergen op Zoom

The starting point of this route is Boerderij Den Hof, which is located in the woods just outside Bergen op Zoom. You are welcome to have a drink on a terrace with a coffee, tea, glass of juice or hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream. Tip: order the homemade cake, it is delicious here! You can also browse around the farm shop. It is nice to stay here when you have finished your walk. Along the way you will pass two forts: Fort de Roovere and Fort Pinssen. Fort de Roovere near Bergen op Zoom is one of the largest forts of the West Brabant waterline. Fort Pinssen protected the inundation plain around Halsteren. You can now take a wonderful walk here. You walk through forests, past buildings, lanes, water and farmland.
