Tour of Hilversum, Drakensteyn Castle and Loosdrecht Lakes

This cycling route starts at Grand cafe Nieuw Zuid Hilversum. You cycle into Hilversum along the edge of the Loosdrecht forest. A nice route via residential location Albertus Perkstraat, Creative Atelier de Winkel and daytime location Cleanteam Hilversum will guide you through the city. You cycle along the Zuiderheide to the forests of Hoge Vuursche. During this cycle route you will also pass Drakensteyn Castle in Lage Vuursche. This castle was first written about in 1360. Princess Beatrix now lives in the castle. After a shortcut via Hollandse Rading you arrive in a completely different area. At the Loosdrechtse Plassen you drive through a picturesque landscape where different waters are separated from each other by dikes and islands. What an idyllic setting. You cycle back to your starting point via Nieuw-Loosdrecht.
