Description
Straight through the city you walk to the west. You walk along the edge of the vast Zoetermeersche Meerpolder towards the Zoetermeersche Plas. Here you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the views. Then you have beautiful views over the water when you walk around the Zoetermeerse Plas, a former sand extraction area. The water here is 40 meters deep. Reeds sway in the wind along the green banks, you will also pass some zones with swamp forests. You can grab a bench along the water to enjoy the beautiful view and the silence.
