Description
You walk straight through the city to the west. You walk along the edge of the vast Zoetermeersche Meerpolder towards the Zoetermeersche Plas. Here you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the views. You then have beautiful views over the water when you walk around the Zoetermeerse Plas, a former sand extraction area. The water here is 40 meters deep. Along the green banks, reed collars wave in the wind, and you will also pass some zones with swamp forests. You can take a bench along the water to enjoy the beautiful view and the silence.
