Tour of the Iron Age Farm and Wekeromse Zand

This walking route starts at Park Berkenrhode. You will take a beautiful walk along the Koelbergen to the Wekeromse Zand, one of the last places in Europe where you can still find actively drifting sand. It is a historical area: at the Vijfsprong, where you pass, you will see P02 - Celtic Fields, reconstructions of centuries-old fields of 40 by 40 meters. You will also find a replica farm and storage barn or spieker from the Iron Age. A viewing platform offers a beautiful view of the entire complex. You then walk straight through nature back to the start. What peace, it is as if you have gone back centuries in time here!
