Refreshing combination of IJssel and Veluwezoom

The route starts in Bronkhorst at Herberg De Gouden Leeuw, the town that likes to advertise itself as the smallest town in the Netherlands. Thanks to the many monumental buildings, you seem to be taking a leap back in time. You can enjoy a drink at the inn before you start the tour. You can then enjoy many beautiful kilometers of fresh air along the floodplains of the IJssel. In the historic center of Doesburg it is a good idea to take a break so that you can fully enjoy the historic atmosphere. You cross the IJssel, after which you can stop at Restaurant de Peerdestal. Then you drive onto the Veluwezoom. The old deciduous forests of Landgoed Middachten await you first, further on you drive through the Veluwezoom National Park. How wonderfully quiet it is here!
