Cycling tour through the Veluwezoom

Get on your bike and explore the area around the Rhederlaag recreation area, Doesburg and Duiven. Initially, there were two large meanders of the IJssel on the site of Rhederlaag. Your cycle route starts at Recreation Park De Veerstal, uniquely situated between the Rhederlaag water sports area and the De Hoge Veluwe National Park. You first cycle through Velp. The village has a number of sights such as Biljoen Castle. Then you cycle on to Giesbeek. The Bingerden estate is one of the oldest preserved country estates in the Netherlands; in 970 it was already mentioned as a fortified farm with a moat. You then cycle towards the pleasant Duiven, where you can stop at IJssalon La Calamita for a delicious ice cream. Then you cycle back towards the Valepas, where you can enjoy the beautiful nature along the way.
