Plenty of nature between Geldrop and Maarheeze

The first kilometers you drive through the Leenderbos and the Groote Heide. Ideal to get in the right mood for a day of relaxation. At junction 30 you can take a look at Geldrop Castle. A beautiful spot, because the building is surrounded by an English landscape park and is located in the Kleine Dommel valley. Then it's time for plenty of nature again. First you drive through the woods of Molenheide, after which you enter the Strabrechtse Heide. Here you will find a mix of conifers, fens, heathland and silence! After a pit stop at the cozy Boscafe van Moorsel, the route takes you to the Somerense Heide and the village of Maarheeze. Finally, you pass through Leenderstrijp, just outside this hamlet you pass the monumental Sint-Janskapel.
