Description
During your tour of Oostvoorne you will pass through a beautiful wooded area. At the edge of the forest you look out over an extensive meadow. The route starts at Badhotel Rockanje & Brasserie Lodgers. Excellently situated approximately 400 meters from the beach and the North Sea, a stay in the cozy hotel is highly recommended. There is also a terrace and when the weather is nice this is the perfect place to have a nice breakfast, lunch or enjoy a drink. Then you cycle to the Oostvoorne mill. This ground sailor was built in 1821 and was used as a grist mill. The windmill milled using wind power until 1950, after which it was milled mechanically. The mill can also be visited when it is running, except on National Mill Day.
