Forest and farmland in Brabant

From the starting point in Rips you make a big round around Gemert, cycling past all kinds of small farming hamlets. Brabant through and through! First you cycle along the edge of the forest of Het Beestenveld. Buzzards hunt vigorously on the border between forest and meadow, there is a good chance that one will skim past. Nearby you cycle past the beautiful forest area of the Stippelberg, named after the many sand hills that lie like dots in the landscape. You discover the eastern part: a real estate, complete with a country house and stately avenues. You might even spot a woodpecker or deer. In Milheeze you pass the Sint-Willibrordus church. Stop along the way at Pannenkoekenhuis Pluk in Beek en Donk for a bite to eat and a drink, then you can start again fresh and fruity.
