Forest and farmland in Brabant

From the starting point in Rips you make a big round around Gemert, where you cycle past all kinds of small farming hamlets. Top Brabant! First you cycle along the edge of the forest of Het Beestenveld. Buzzards hunt a lot on the border of forest and meadow, there is a good chance that one will skim past. Nearby you drive along the beautiful forest area of the Stippelberg, named after the many sand hills that dot the landscape. You discover the eastern part: a real estate, complete with a manor house and stately avenues. You might spot a woodpecker or deer. In Milheeze you pass the Sint-Willibrordus Church. Stop along the way at Pannenkoekenhuis Pluk in Beek en Donk for a snack and a drink, then you can go fresh and fruity again.
