Picnic route: Neighborhood tour Krimpenerwaard

Your route starts at Pannenkoekenrestaurant Onder De Molen. Cycling through the vast Krimpenerwaard landscapes, you look out over the banks of the river Lek, grassy meadows and fertile fields. Dairy and cheese farms and other agricultural companies in the polder are nice places to gather something tasty for a picnic. Drive through the'neighborhoods\' of Bergambacht and Stolwijk past windmill Bonrepas, a seesaw mill that was built around 1600. The mill dominates its surroundings and has a thatched lower tower. The old Dutch blade shape has never changed. You will pass fantastic places to spread out your rug. At junctions 32 and 30, for example, but also at the Reevlietpad in Vlist or on the banks of the Lek (junction 76) it is a good place to be.
