Tour of Amstelmeer and Den Oever

Get to know the former island of Wieringen. The landscape here is very different from the surrounding polder: it is undulating here with undamaged ground moraine, meltwater valleys, but also dry valleys. You start the cycle route at the parking lot at Jachthaven De Haufkes. From here you leave in a northerly direction. You pass the Onderneming mill when you cycle towards Den Oever. You can take a break at Restaurant Basalt, which is located at the harbor of Den Oever. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a meal here with a view over the fishing harbor. From here you cycle further over the Wieringse moraine and the surrounding watery polder landscape. You cycle south again via the Robbenoordbos, and then take a circuit around the Amstelmeer.
