Hunting lodge St. Hubertus
The route takes you past Jachtslot St. Hubertus, among other things. Hendrik Petrus Berlage is the architect who designed and built the castle in 1914. Berlage also designed the interior of the house, which creates a beautifully coherent whole. Get off your bike to admire the hunting lodge or take a tour of the house. The house was built in the English country house style, complete with smoking rooms, a billiard room and much more.

Gasterij't Hillletje
Just outside the village of Harskamp you pass the monumental mill Lana Mariana. This stone belt mill was built in 1739. The mill was severely damaged during the Second World War when the roof and blades were shot off. Nowadays the mill is used as a home. You start and end the route at Gasterij't Hillletje, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. You can also spend the night here comfortably.

The Battle of Otterlo
On this route you will come across a listening point that is part of the Liberation Route. This route takes you past various places in the Netherlands where experiences and stories from the Second World War are told. Here you will find L56: The Battle of Otterlo. Here you will hear the story about the fierce battle that the Allies fought here for our freedom. This was the last major battle in the Netherlands. Otterlo had actually already been liberated when these fighting broke out.
