Tour of Weert and Iron Man

Weert is beautifully situated in greenery. Here you cycle through the cross-border Kempen-Broek landscape, where you can get acquainted with various nature reserves. Your route starts at the De IJzeren Man recreation area. In the Nature and Environmental Center you can learn more about the special flora and fauna in the Border Park. A little later you cycle straight through the Border Park and discover beautiful nature reserves such as the Laurabossen. Weer is also known for its many windmills: along the way you will pass the St. Anna windmill, for example. The Broekmolen is an undershot mill and belongs to an estate that also includes a large farm. The watermill is fed by the Aabeek.
