Relaxed cycling through the Gelderse Vallei

In the area between Nijkerk and Putten you will find different landscape types. You cycle through meadows, the water of Lake Veluwe and through the built-up areas of the cities. Plenty to see on this route, so you won't be bored for a moment. Be sure to take the time to take a look at the octagonal tower mill De Hoop. The mill was built in 1888 to grind grain and that function remained until the end of the twentieth century. The start and end point of the route, Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer, is ideal for escaping the routine of daily life. The hotel is beautifully situated on the Veluwemeer on Nulde beach. Have a bite to eat in the restaurant or take a seat on the terrace with a drink.
