Relaxed cycling through the Gelderse Vallei

In the area between Nijkerk and Putten you will find different types of landscape. You cycle through meadows, the water of the Veluwemeer and through the built-up areas of the cities. There is enough to see on this route, so you will not be bored for a moment. Also take the time to take a look at the octagonal windmill De Hoop. The mill was built in 1888 to grind grain and that remained its function until the end of the twentieth century. The start and end point of the route, Postillion Hotel Amersfoort Veluwemeer, is ideal for escaping the grind of everyday life. The hotel is beautifully situated on the Veluwemeer at Nulde beach. Have a bite to eat in the restaurant or take a seat on the terrace with a drink.
