Description
This cycle tour takes you past city, land and water. Your route starts in Leiden. Then you continue the route via Oegstgeest towards Noordwijk and drive through the Bulb Region. Near Sassenheim you will come across the Ruins of Teylingen, an impressive round moated castle. After the Kagerplassen, the route continues via Rijpwetering and Oude Ade, past Leiderdorp, back to Leiden. In the historic city center you can relax on one of the many terraces along the canals. The old center offers many special sights such as the Castle, the Hooglandse and Pieterskerk, the Academy Building and no fewer than 35 courtyards! There is also a huge choice of museums and many nice shops. Get off at the Stal den Hollander farm shop! Further on you will pass the Endegeest estate and the Rhijngeest estate.
