Beach and dune route Brielle

This route introduces you to one of the South Holland Islands. These islands have a wide variety of natural values. In addition to water, beach and dunes, a number of nature reserves with special flora and fauna are spread throughout the area, surrounded by peace and space. In Hellevoetsluis you follow the route through the polder landscape and dune strips to the seaside resort of Rockanje. This seaside resort was created after the reclamation of parts of the sea. The beautiful beach of Rockanje is 6 km long and has an adjacent unique dune area. The route takes you cycling through the wooded area to the next seaside resort on the island of Voorne-Putten: Oostvoorne. Here you can take a break at Eetcafé Centraal Oostvoorne. This hotel and café has been located in Oostvoorne since 1885.
