Description
During this route you cycle past small villages towards Boxmeer, where you cross the Maas by ferry. An extra fun experience. Enjoy the view over the water while standing on the ferry. Stop at Heijen Castle, which dates from the 16th century. Heijen Castle suffered major damage during the Second World War. First it came under fire from the Allies, who shot the castle from the west across the Maas. A versatile route with nature and culture!
