The short but sporty MTB tour takes you over two mountains to the Grüntensee. Past the figurehead of Nesselwang, the parish church of St. Andreas, you pass the valley station of the Alpspitzbahn on your left and you reach the picturesque part of Bayerstetten. Shortly after the holiday village of Reichenbach, the route then turns left onto Teerstraße to Haslacher Alpe. The steep ascent leads over sections of forest and meadows to the Alphütte, where you can soon hear the bells of the young cattle. Then there is a short gravel section before you reach the highest point at the Buronhütte. Here you can also follow an alternative route to the Alpe Blösse. The descent is steep from there to the small village of Hinterreute and on a cycle path via the Grüntensee circular trail. You cycle back along the shore of the lake to the Staudamm, where you can once again enjoy the wonderful view. You continue past a climbing forest via Haslach and the Roman bridge to Gschwend, before the view of the Alpspitze announces your arrival at your destination.
