Description
Put on your walking shoes and discover the area around Rossum and Hurwenen, two villages located on the south bank of the Waal in the Bommelerwaard. You start at Bistro in Petto, where you are surrounded by various terraces. You can enjoy the beautiful view here in the summer on the dyke terrace. You see boats come and go, a wonderful sensation. In the first part of the walk you will discover Rossum and walk past the Reformed Church Rossum and Rossum Castle. You can also walk past the windmill Vento Vivimus in Hurwenen, which means'We live for the wind\\\'. You walk back over the Waaldijk. Once back at Bistro in Petto you can relax while enjoying a delicious slice of apple pie and a cup of coffee.
