Tour of Baarn, Soest and Lage Vuursche

This route takes you through the woods around Soest and Bilthoven. First you drive through the protected cityscape of Baarn. There are many monumental villas in this park-like environment. Further on you cycle past the former Soestdijk Palace. The originally seventeenth-century hunting lodge was sold to a company in 2017. On the outskirts of Soest you will pass the Oude Kerk from 1350. Around the church you will see many ancient monuments. Further on you enter the Soestduinen. From here you drive many kilometers through a mix of coniferous and deciduous forests, wonderful! In the middle of all that natural beauty you pass through Lage Vuursche, which enjoys a protected village view. The Stulpkerk originally dates from 1659, the current Drakensteyn Castle dates from 1640. The route ends at Pannenkoekenboerderij De Wildenburg.
