A figure of eight around and through Deurne

The starting point of this route is Restaurant Het Dinghuis in Deurne, a cozy restaurant with a homely atmosphere. The restaurant is a perfect place to rest and enjoy a snack and a drink after doing this walk. Opposite the restaurant is the Small Castle, a castle dating from the 14th century. In the Middle Ages the castle was called Oud Huis. Now there is only a residential tower. You leave Deurne and walk towards the Walberg forests. This forest was created because a heathland area was planted with conifers. Attention bird watchers: goldcrests can be found in the forest! In the last part of the walk you walk past Holten\\\'s Mill, which now runs on a voluntary basis again.
