Walking through Haren and Megen

From Cafe Herberg D\\\'n Dort you can walk straight into the polders. It is beautiful to walk here in a vast environment of fields and meadows. After a while you walk through the village of Haren. Here you pass the St. Lambertus Church, on the other side of the road is the Bethlehem Penitent Monastery, founded in the sixteenth century. The route then leads you over an unpaved path along the stream. Enjoy the silence and the beautiful landscape. You walk to Megen via a tree-lined street. In this historic village you will see many beautiful old buildings. For example, you will pass the Prison Tower, which dates back to the fourteenth century! You walk back to the starting point on car-free roads. Time for a refreshment!
