Gevangentoren Megen

As you walk into Megen you will be greeted by the prison tower, a last remnant of the fortifications and a former prison. Megen wanted to keep intruders out with city walls. They were built in 1386, with four city gates. One of them, the prison gate in Megen, remained firmly intact throughout the centuries. You can now enjoy a bite to eat there.
