The upper part of North Holland consists of typical Dutch polder landscapes, the coast, dunes and flower bulb fields. A beautiful area to cycle through. This route takes you through the quiet area around Schagen. You start the route at Museum Historical Harenkarspel in Tuitjenhorn. The museum's collection consists of tools that were previously used in agriculture and livestock farming. You can also view craft and household items. There is also a temporary exhibition every season. After visiting the museum, you cycle to Haringhuizen and Schagen. Get off in Schagen and walk past the Grote Kerk on the Markt, the 15th century castle towers of the former castle. You cycle back to Tuitjenhorn via the polders.
