Museum Historisch Harenkarspel

This museum is located in the Van Blanckendaell animal park and the permanent collection consists of tools used in ancient times in agriculture and livestock, plus an extensive range of antique household items. All items come from residents of the former municipality of Harenkarspel, where practically everyone worked as a retailer, farmer or gardener. Every year, a temporary exhibition is also put together with diverse subjects, from 100 Years of Photography to Old-school toys. On the website you can read what the current topic is.
