Whiskystokerij De Molenberg

Since 2010, Het Anker has been distilling whiskey from the malt batter of the Gouden CarolusTripel in the 17th-century family farm in Blaasveld. This is done in two authentic Scottish copper boilers or 'pot stills'. The distillate is then aged in oak barrels for at least three years and one day. The result is a unique Belgian quality whiskey with a pure and balanced taste. You can taste subtle fruit aromas and wooden vanilla notes in the Gouden Carolus Single Malt. The whiskey entered the market at the end of 2013. At the '2014 International Wine and Spirit Competition', an international tasting competition, the whiskey immediately won a silver medal.The public area and the visitor center shop are open daily except Mondays and Tuesdays.
