Wijngaard De Braoke

Just outside the built-up area of Laren you will find the vineyards of the Braoke. Here, different varieties of grapes are grown in a modern, but nature-friendly way. Different types of wines are made from those grapes. The vineyards cover an area of one hectare. This family business was started in 2003. Since then, both blue and white grapes have been grown to make quality wines. The grapes grown here ripen well in a cool climate. This is of course also necessary in a country like the Netherlands, where the temperature is not that high for a large part of the year.
