Burgundian Den Bosch city walk

's-Hertogenbosch is one of the nicest cities in the Netherlands. During this city walk of over 7 kilometers you will get a good impression of the city and walk through the atmospheric streets and along the water.

Cozy Den Bosch
Start with a cup of coffee and - of course - a Bossche Bol. On the Parade you also have a view of St. John's Cathedral. St. John's Cathedral is a late Gothic, richly decorated church that was built between 1380 and 1520.

The Binnendieze
Den Bosch is the city of medieval buildings above the Binnendieze. The Binnendieze river was previously used as a water supply, washing place and fishing spot, but also as a waste dump. Due to the construction of a sewer system in the city, the Binnendieze slowly disappeared, but fortunately this was stopped: the waterway was protected. The water under the city is now one of the city's historical attractions: you literally sail under buildings. During the walk you have a view of the Binnendieze, but you also walk along other waters in the city. You cross the Dommel, but you also walk along the Singelgracht.

The Bastionder
The Bastion Oranje is located near the center of 's-Hertogenbosch. This is the last bastion added to the fortress. Here you look out over the beautiful Bossche Broek nature reserve. In the spring you can enjoy the thousands of crocuses here and in the summer you can have a nice picnic under the monumental trees.
