Tour of Oostvoorne and Hellevoetsluis from Rockanje

Your route starts at Pavilion Zomerzoen. Rockanje is a seaside resort on the North Sea coast with a lovely long beach and a unique dune area: Voornes Duin, which you can cycle through. Then you drive past the Oostvoornse Meer, a deep and clear water, half fresh and half salt. It is one of the most important training sites for recreational diving, thanks to the many shipwrecks on the bottom. A little later you will pass Molen Oostvoorne, which was built in 1821. In Museum in den Halven Maen you will find all kinds of nostalgic utensils and, for example, an old grocery shop has been recreated. Imagine yourself in earlier times here and don't forget to stock up on some tasty sweets in the nostalgic sweet shop. You drive back through the historic settlement of Hellevoetsluis.
