Description
At Het Raedthuys you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat in a homely atmosphere, so that you get on your bike with enough energy. First you cycle through the forests of De Zoom, ideal for relaxing. Further on you come through Putte, a village that is divided in two by the Belgian-Dutch border. At Brasserie De Kar it is time for a terrace, after which you cycle via a shortcut through Belgium to Bath in Zeeland. Climb the dike if you want to look out over the rippling water of the Western Scheldt and the many seagoing vessels that use this waterway on their journey to Antwerp. In Rilland you see the Witte Molen, a corn mill from 1851. You cross the Scheldt-Rhine Canal, after which you cycle via Woensdrecht to Hoogerheide.
