Veerse Meer
First you drive from the parking lot to Kortgene. Here is the beautiful Nicholas Church from 1686. The fifteenth-century tower is the only medieval building that survived the All Saints Flood of 1532. You can get a breath of fresh air on the cycle path while enjoying beautiful views over the Veerse Meer. Here you see the Middelplaat, some uninhabited islands. Well, uninhabited: many breeding birds live there. And a herd of Haflinger ponies.
Banjaarstrand
You cycle through Kamperland, then drive to Banjaardstrand: one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. Nice to take a dip in the water! You cycle the last kilometers on car-free roads through the beautiful wide polders. This way you can charge the battery very easily!
