Hiking around Bergharen

You can take a nice walk in the outskirts of Bergharen. An ideal environment to recharge the battery.

Walking landscape
From Hill\\\'s you first walk to Bergharen. At the edge of this village you can turn left into the Veldsestraat. Here you will see some beautiful farms and a picturesque church that originally dates from the fifteenth century. You will also pass some beautiful monuments further on. A little later you walk on leafy roads through a mosaic of fields, ditches and small plots of forest. In short, an ideal hiking landscape.

New Wetering
It is wonderful to walk in the polders, especially because part of the route runs on unpaved paths along meadows and streams. You can get a breath of fresh air here and enjoy the silence. The last part takes you along the leafy Nieuwe Wetering, a fourteenth-century watercourse that drains the Dukenburg district of Nijmegen. What an idyllic spot! At Hill\\\'s you can regain your strength with a nice meal on the terrace on the same Nieuwe Wetering.
